Luna Tigre is built upon the foundational understanding that the artifacts we choose to keep around us matter. They become a part of us. From how our candles fill your rooms with luscious fragrance to how they look amongst your belongings, we strive to craft products that are deliberate and meaningful.

When it comes to quality, we don’t mess around. Luna Tigre candles are crafted from 100% soy wax, high quality fragrance oils and cotton papercore wicks. And, after your candle has been used, the glass container can be repurposed into a drinking glass, a coin collection, or, you know, whatever life calls for. It’s just one more way we work to leave the smallest ecological footprint possible.

We pour all of our candles by hand in small batches in Austin, Texas. Whether we’ve met you at one of the many art shows we’ve participated in since 2014, or you’re a far-away fan we’ve never had the pleasure of meeting, we’re thankful to you. Let’s craft amazing lives and stories together.

OUR STORY

Inspired by the local crafter community in Austin, Texas, Luna Tigre founder Jill Patton began studying candlemaking during her free time. After plenty of false starts and failed attempts, she began gifting her candles to friends and family. The rave reviews she received eventually led her to found Luna Tigre alongside her husband Dan in 2014.

Today Jill’s first failed candle (a particularly grotesque take on nag champa) adorns a special shelf within the Luna Tigre studio — a poignant reminder of how far we’ve come and how much gratitude we owe to all of you.
